Do I need to bring anything to cooking classes?

Nope! We will provide aprons and everything you need. Just bring yourself and wear comfy shoes. Masks are not required at this time but are certainly welcome.

How many people are in a class?

We keep our class sizes fairly small, not just for COVID but also because it creates a more high-quality experience. Kids classes are capped at 6-8 students; most are capped at 6, but teen classes and Saturday events sometimes have 8. Mommy & Me classes usually have 4-6 adults with 1 or 2 kids each (never more than 12 people total, but usually 9 or under). Date nights have 3-4 couples. In addition, every class has one instructor and sometimes an assistant.

Are there any makeup classes or refunds for the weekly kids classes?

When you sign up for the weekly kids classes, you pay for all 4 weeks to hold your spot, and you also get a discounted rate over paying “per class”. While we do not offer refunds for missed classes, we do offer makeup classes if they can come a different day within the same week. This way your child will get to make the same recipe they missed, just at a different time and day. Please contact us if you need to do a makeup class and we will try our best to accommodate you!

What ages are recommended for the Saturday Kids Camps?

We welcome ages 7 & up for all of our Saturday camps. Typically we do not see students over age 12 at these camps unless it is labeled as a “teen/tween” camp, but they are certainly welcome. If you are ever worried that your child will not have a lot of children their same age, you are welcome to contact us.

What age is appropriate for mommy & me classes?

We do not set an age limit on mommy & me classes, but we recommend bringing children ages 3 and older. We usually have a good mix of ages ranging on average from 3-9 but older kids are welcome. Might we also add that we are not exclusive to moms. We also welcome dads, aunts, and grandparents to come with the kids!

How do I find your school?

The GPS is often misleading when directing people to our school. On Highway 89, you will turn East on Skyline Drive towards the mountains. There is a Chevron at that intersection and you want to take a right immediately after the Chevron carwash and before Avamere Assisted Living. There will be a small sign that says “Adventure West Plaza”. This is the entrance to our business lot. Keep driving towards the parking lot and we are the second business front on the left.
